Carlos Ghosn, He is Nissan’s president and CEO, a production Nissan GT-R achieved a lap time of 7 minutes, 29 seconds, This is making it the fastest production car ever to lap the Nürburg ring circuit. (a GT-R posted a 7-minute, 38-second lap time, establishing it as one of the world’s fastest production cars.)

Toyota recently introduced a new DOHC 4V 4.5L V8 twin-turbo diesel in Australia in the Land Cruiser 200 (here). Well that engine, or a variation of it, is coming here. That’s not a surprise. What is a surprise is that it likely will be offered with three transmission choices.
