The Endeavor is Mitsubishi’s mid-size compact crossover vehicle, but it’s a bit of a lost soul—reason being, the compact Outlander is nearly as large, handles better, and offers a third-row seat, which the Endeavor doesn’t.
After skipping the 2009 model year entirely, the 2010 Mitsubishi Endeavor exists but is being sold in very limited numbers, and the top-of-the-line Endeavor XLS is now dropped. In today’s market, the 225-hp, 3.8-liter V-6 and automatic transmission is merely capable, and many rivals deliver better performance and fuel economy.
On the road, the Mitsubishi Endeavor is quiet and capable, but not a standout performer. All seating positions offer good comfort, and the cargo area can handle loads up to 4 feet wide.
