2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe Available Ahead of Schedule

Good news for Cadillac fans: the highly-anticipated 2011 CTS Coupe will be hitting dealer lots sooner than expected.
A Cadillac press release states, “Cadillac’s Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant has begun production of the 2011 CTS Coupe and started shipping models to U.S. dealerships ahead of schedule.” It wasn’t expected to hit dealer lots until August.
For those who don’t already know, the CTS is one helluva performer. “The 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe is powered by a 3.6L direct-injected V6 engine producing 304-hp and 273 lb-ft of torque,” reports egmCarTech. “Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual or a Hydra-Matic 6L50 6-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift Control.” Plus, it’s drop dead gorgeous.
According to Autoblog, pricing will start at $38,990 for the base, rear-wheel-drive model. The performance-tuned CTS-V will be released later this year. It will cost approximately $20K more.
