2011 Infiniti G25 Pricing Announced

Have you always wanted an Infiniti G37, but found that its price is just out of your range? Well we’ve got some good news: Infiniti’s new G25 will be more affordable and still do everything a G37 does, minus the power.
In a Nissan-issued press release, the company says “The 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan, which features a new 2.5-liter V6 and 7-speed automatic transmission, has a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (M.S.R.P.) $30,950 USD.” That makes the base G25 sedan $4,100 cheaper than the starting price of a G37 four door.
The new V6 produces 218 horsepower, which is 110 less than the G37. But where things get tricky is when you compare the G25’s fuel economy against the G37’s.
“The G25′s EPA numbers read 20 miles per gallon in the city and 29 mpg on the highway,” writes Autoblog. “That’s not bad for a luxury sled, but it’s also only fractionally better than the far more powerful G37, which nets respectable 19/27 numbers.”
If this has you more inclined to hold onto your piggy bank a bit longer, it may be wise to check with your local Infiniti dealer for a leftover 2010 G37s so you can make up that $4,100 price difference.
