Bruce Wayne has apparently fallen on hard times. He’s selling the Batmobile on eBay..

The eBay listing claims the vehicle is "one of 5 cars that could have been in the Batman movie staring Micheal Keaton and Jack Nicholson. Five cars were built for the movie and this car is the number five car." The current price of the Dark Knight’s ride? $110,000. That investment will buy you a 20-foot long one-seater with a custom-built chassis and "a Chevrolet 350" engine. "There are no doors. To get in you have to be able to enter through the top where the canopy slides opens, just like in the movie."

Autoblog cautions, "The new owner will need you to sign a Warner Brothers purchase agreement, which we hear is pretty limiting in what it allows you to do with the car."

We should also note that this isn’t the latest Batmobile. It’s the previous generation. The new model hasn’t been sold yet, but if the caped crusader is suffering from high gas prices as much as the rest of us, this far-more impressive 2009 Batmobile may be put up for auction next.
