BTCC 2011: Rounds 4, 5, 6

BTCC 2011: Rounds 4, 5, 6 Get the low-down on the second round of the 2011 Dunlop British Touring Car Championship
Derbyshire’s Donington Park circuit is where we find ourselves for the second round of the 2011 Dunlop British Touring Car Championship, and if last year’s action is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat.
Â
Qualifying takes place on Saturday 16th April, with a full day’s racing on Sunday. Check out the details below for information on ticket pricing.
Â
It was last year’s race which marked the first major race event at Donington since its reopening following its failure to land Formula 1’s British Grand Prix, and it didn’t disappoint. A pile-up in the first race left championship leader Jason Plato’s Chevrolet Cruze in the barriers, and despite driving strongly to third place in the remaining two, he couldn’t prevent Gordon Shedden, Tom Onslow-Cole and Matt Neal sharing the wins to set up a four-way final round title decider.
Â
Where to watch:
Craner Curves: Challenging enough when you’re the only car out there, Craner Curves can be nightmarish for drivers jostling for track position. Falls on a steep downhill so always guaranteed a spill or few.
Â
