Corvette ZR1; Latest GM Vehicle to be hit with Incentives

If a few thousand dollars is stopping you from anteing up to the 638 horsepower Corvette ZR1 then now may be the time to finally make that purchase.

“The incentives currently offered on the Corvette ZR1 include both the 2009 and 2010 model years,” reports Automobile Magazine. “GM is enticing buyers to the 2010 ZR1 with $3000 cash back or 0 percent financing for 60 months. Opting for the financing deal will keep monthly ZR1 payments under $2000 (figure a fully loaded model with no deposit), which is still more than many people pay on a mortgage.”

These deals, however, are not restricted to the ZR1.

“GM simply removed the previous exclusion of the ZR1 so that existing Corvette rebates now apply to the supercharged model,” says Autoblog.

However if you’re looking to get a 2009 ZR1 for the extra money that GM is putting on the hood compared to 2010 models you better act quick.

“With only 11 left in dealer stock nationwide,” Automobile Magazine finds, “we imagine they’ll be gone fast.”

Not only will they be gone fast, they’ll leave in a blaze of smoke as new owners learn to lay out the power of their latest toy, since the 2009 model doesn’t have the 2010 model’s launch control system.
