Ferrari FF flies high Ferrari’s new FF supercar takes a lift up 2,530-metre mountain in a Chinook helicopter.
It’s the Ferrari that’s on top of the world! The Italian firm is preparing for next week’s press launch of the new V12 FF supercar. And as part of the launch programme, journalists from around the world will get to drive the FF on a specially made ice and snow track.

However, as the track is located at the top of Plan De Corones in the Dolomites at 2,350 metres, Ferrari had to call on the Italian air force to get two examples of its new four-wheel-drive supercar up to the summit.

The mountain is usually only accessible by skidoos or ski lifts, but the Ferraris made the trip in a CH-47 Chinook, with assistance from three other Augusta helicopters. Following their flight, the cars will be used at the summit over the next four weeks.

Auto Express will be attending the launch on 23rd March, so make sure you check back then for our full review of Ferrari’s new FF.
