Infiniti Ups Pricing for M37 And M56

Although luxury manufacturers – like BMW and Mercedes-Benz – have dropped prices for their all-new luxury large cars, Infiniti is going against the grain.
Effective immediately, the 2011 Infiniti M models receive a price bump that “is $250 for M37 models and $350 for M56 models,” Autoweek reports. A couple hundred bucks isn’t all that much, but when you look at the new base prices, they may strike fear in your heart.
MSN Autos writes, “revised sticker prices are $47,375 for the Infiniti M37, $49,525 for the Infiniti M37x AWD, $58,775 for the Infiniti M56, and $61,275 for the Infiniti M56x AWD.” These new prices include the $875 destination and handling fees.
Prior to the bump, the all-new M56 was already “edged higher by $5,750 compared to the outgoing M45 and M45x,” says Autoblog. Additionally, Autoblog writes “We’re not exactly sure why the price of the M jumped, but it could have something to do with the fact that sales of the flagship Infiniti are up 45 percent on the year.”
