Maserati upgrades Quattroporte Stylish four-door gets a boost with MC Sport Line option package.
Meet the motorsport-inspired Maserati Quattroporte. Based on the Quattroporte Sport GT S model, Maserati’s in-house racing team has developed the MC Sport Line equipment package to create what the firm describes as a car that “perfectly embodies the character of Maserati luxury sport sedan.”
Sadly, the add-ons don’t enhance the performance of the 434bhp 4.7-litre V8. Instead, the MC Sport Line package replaces all the wood trim in the standard car with carbon fibre, across the dashboard, the front and rear centre consoles, sections of the door panels, the gear knob and around the switchgear.
There’s more carbon fibre around the instrument pack and on the gearchange paddles, while each of the door sills is fitted with carbon fibre trim panels embossed with the MC Sport Line logo which also adorns and the aluminium brake pedal.
The range-topping Quattroporte was revealed at this year’s Australian International Auto Show, which opened its doors in Sydney on October 15th.
