Auto news; Silverstone Driving Experiences V8 Vantage package is now included in Silverstone’s range of driving days.
If you’ve seen the latest Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, the idea of climbing behind the wheel of an Aston is sure to appeal. And Silverstone circuit has added one of the British manufacturer’s models to its Driving Experience fleet.

The race school, based at the Northamptonshire home of the British Grand Prix, now offers an Aston Martin Thrill package, in a 420bhp V8 Vantage.

Better still, if you buy a special Christmas Evoucher for £99 before 19 December, participants can take their pick from the Aston, a Ferrari 360F1 Modena or Lotus’s supercharged Exige.

Prefer to try something a little more specialised? Then there is also the opportunity to slip into a Formula Silverstone Single Seater, or you can tackle a hair-raising rally drive.

All experiences include professional instruction from the circuit’s experts. To take part, motorists must have held their full car driving licence for at least one year.
