Now Subaru owners won’t have to literally shout their pride to the world. Instead, Subaru is offering a way for them to show how much they love their vehicles through personalized badges they can order online.
Available at BadgeofOwnership.com, the badges have an adhesive backing and can be easily affixed to the vehicle. Autoblog explains that the “main, circular badge tells the world how many Subarus you’ve owned, followed by your choice of over a dozen badges that show what sports or hobbies you engage in.”
Badge options include high mileage, gardening, biking, love, environment, animals, and more. “Heck, in a nod to political correctness, Subaru even offers a rainbow LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) badge,” adds AutoGuide.
Subaru will monitor the badges so that only Subaru buyers can order them.
“And if you don’t have a Subaru but think you can buy the badges because they look cool, think again,” writes Autoblog. “Proof of ownership via Vehicle Identification Number is required to score your free stick-on schwag. Head over to the Subaru Badge of Ownership site to peruse the options.”
