Daily Auto News Volvo Offers Free Maintenance Program for 2009 Models
Daily Auto News

In the turbulent U.S. economy, automakers are suffering — which means plenty of deep discounts and other incentives for consumers. Automotive News reports the latest good news for buyers: Volvo recently reinstated its free scheduled maintenance program, which had been discontinued since 2006. Under the program, Volvo buyers will get three years or 36,000 miles worth of free maintenance for all 2009 models.
“The decision to bring back the program was championed by Volvo dealers, who needed a new strategy to get buyers back in the doors,” says Left Lane News. Only a few other luxury brands still offer free extended maintenance. At four years or 50,000 miles, BMW’s runs the longest.
